Charlie is a former advertising sales executive from the Detroit area where he enjoyed a successful 18-year career as the VP of Sales at the Food Network. Throughout his career, Charlie was involved in media sales and sales management at Time Magazine, Outside Magazine, Discovery Channel, and AOL. He has been a licensed realtor for four years and has now decided to make real estate his full-time career.
Charlie and his wife of 35 years, Mary, are from Birmingham, Michigan. Their first granddaughter, Phoebe, was born in August. He and his young family have been coming to Glen Arbor for over 30 years, originally owning Wilderness at the Homestead and now living in Glen Arbor. The natural beauty, great people, and a strong sense of community are some of the reasons Charlie and Mary have fallen in love with the area. He is looking forward to helping home buyers find their dream property in Northern Michigan, and providing expertise and guidance to those owners deciding to sell their home, land, or commercial assets.
Rob Serbin and Charlie met over 12 years ago when Rob was instrumental in helping Mary and Charlie find their dream home in Glen Arbor. It was at this time that the two became friends and gained mutual respect for each others’ dedication, hard work, and ethical approach to business.
