This home and property is very near and dear to me, as it was the first home I purchased (along with then fiance Vic Lane) in my early 20's. Since he and I were from Frankfort and Maple City, a move to the "tip of the mitt" was new to both of us, but over the 3 years we spent there, we loved it.
Cross Village is a quaint village with a very long history. Today, it's a favorite pit stop along the "tunnel of trees" scenic highway from Harbor Springs and home to the infamous Leg's Inn.
